The “lose the rules” approach eliminates stress by teaching students how to use functional strategies and manipulatives to break words into syllables to effectively read and spell big words with ease and accuracy. We will review phonics basics and 6 syllable patterns and learn how to look at words without fear! Our technique is explicit, systematic, and multi-sensory.
